- 7th August 2021

The school had organized JYOTIDAAN (traditional farewell)
for the outgoing students of Std XII on 7th August 2021. The
function began with the invocation by students, Gurupuja by

Sri Raviprakash, Administrator SSRVM Trust followed by the
Jyotidaan, exclusive to SSRVM Bangalore North. This was
done amidst the chants of Shikshavalli from the Taitereya

Upanishad which added an element of holiness.
The lamp of knowledge was lit by the subject teachers of std
XII. Each wick lit represented the group of subjects. One of

the wicks represented values and the skill they learn. Finally
all the wicks were drawn together symbolizing learning and
knowledge as holistic. The students come and light an

individual lamp from the light of knowledge. This symbolizes
that they are going to carry the light of knowledge with them
              to brighten the world.

This symbolic representation, wherein each wick when lit
separately gives out light but when put together brightens
many lives. The teachers shared their thoughts about the
students and expressed that they have been a batch, full of

energy and enthusiasm. The students also spoke about their
journey from then to now. There was a surprise performance
by the students of class 12 present batch.

Our guest Mr. Shivakumar Ji committee member, spoke to
the students and enlightened them with his words.
The program ended with an inspiring speech by our

Prinicipal, Smt. Mamatha Raviprakash on how students can
take on the world and scale new heights when they tread on
the right path. It was an eventful day, which ended with
bittersweet smiles on each face and nostalgia in each heart.
