Activity: Experiments on floating and sinking
Grouping and classification makes the study of materials easier and also saves our time and
energy. Students listed the objects around them. They analysed and observed the materials
based on their appearance, size, shape and lustre.
Experiments on floating and sinking were also demonstrated by students, wherein they
related to the concept of density of the given objects.
