Activity: Freedom to expression and guided drawing - Art integrated learning
An activity based on freedom of expression was conducted for the students. Where
one minute was given to use their choicest colour and expression. In this guided
activity, they were asked to draw a picture as per the instructions given by the teacher.
Students participated whole heartedly. They liked the first activity more as they were
free to make use of colour and their thoughts whereas they missed it in the second
activity. They expressed their likes and dislikes for both the activities.
They realized the meaning and importance of freedom in their life. They were now
able to understand the plight of people before independence.
