Activity: Observations and drawing
This activity was conducted for the students to make them learn the importance of each
part of the plant. The activities involved the children to do seed germination. They had
to observe its growth daily and draw it in an A4 sheet. The happiness which they
experienced when their seeds sprouted and grew was priceless. Their fascination
grew with each growing stem and leaves. This activity helped in teaching the different
types of roots and their difference in leaves depending on the root system. This activity
taught them the value of the farmer and their parents who provide them food.
