Activity: Demonstration
Students were introduced to laboratory
equipments, wherein they also analysed
how these instruments were very much
similar to the utensils they have seen in
their kitchen. Students became well aware
of the equipments used in the test of starch,
proteins and also understood how to
identify them in the given food sample by
observing the related videos shown in the
class and to have a hands on approach, all
students conducted test for fats on peanuts
and almonds. It was a great learning for all
of them since they could observe as well as
give their conclusion on the test they
demonstrated to each other. One of the
student also demonstrated various parts of
the microscope and gave the class more
insight on how to observe a specimen
under a microscope.
