Activity: Garden Walk/ Little farmers

An environmentalists John Muir had quoted, “In every walk with nature one receives
far more than he seeks.” while studying the impact of natural world on humans. This
was made evident by allowing the students to share the view of their garden in the
form of videos and photos in the Little farmers/Garden walk activity. Students eagerly
showcased the variety of plants they have nurtured in their gardens. Being in nature

can help clear our mind and bring us into the present moment, and is a great way to
de-stress and relax. This activity encouraged many students to start their own garden
which will help them improve their confidence levels, promotes creativity and

imagination and teaches responsibility.
