Activity: Demonstration of Friction in day-to-day activities.
Albert Einstein quotes “The only source of knowledge is experience”. The knowledge
we acquire comes from how we interpret these experiences in our lives. Inspired by
this quote, the students explored real life scenarios to realize the fact that ‘Friction is a
necessary evil’. This exploration helped students to connect with their day-to-day
activities involving friction to understand the concept in an assertive manner. Based
on this activity, students were able to discuss various methods which can increase or
decrease frictions in real life scenarios.
