Activity: Preparing a Care Label for Readymade Garments
The students were asked to prepare care labels for garments by means of using
specific symbols with their imagination. The main idea of having a care label is that
the consumer should know how to clean or remove the stains from a garment. If no
attention is paid to the care label, then the garment might get spoilt, its color may
bleed, it may shrink and the embroidery work may get spoilt. The students thoroughly
enjoyed the activity and learnt about the purpose of having a care label.
