Concept of poverty:

values, and knowledge of poverty:

▪ Personal beliefs: ideas that are thought to

be true

▪ Values: ideas of life, customs, and ways of

behaving that members of a society regard
as desirable

▪ Knowledge: an individual's known range of
information

▪ the life stories of those who experience
poverty; and

▪ social, political, cultural, and environmental
factors.
