Project Team

• Sponsors and Champion – This is a high-level executive who sponsors the project and

provides support and resources to the team.

• Process Owners – This is the person who is responsible for the process that the

project is aimed at improving. They provide expertise and guidance to the project

team. Subject matter expert.

• Project Manager –These are the individuals who have expertise in the process being

studied and can provide insight and guidance to the project team.

• Sigma Leader – Black Belt s responsible for leading the project team and ensuring

that the project is completed on time and within budget.

• Scribe or Note Taker – This is the person that records sessions.
