Charismatic Leadership

Charismatic leadership inspires enthusiasm in teams and are energetic

in motivating others to move forward. These leaders are generally

focused on themselves.

Pros: Cons:

• A person who simply wants to make • A leader who believes more in

a name for him/herself him/herself than in the team
• This type of leader considers the

success of the team as being

contingent on the leaders presence.
• A charismatic leader might believe

that he/she can do no wrong, even

when others are warning them
about the path they are on.

• This feeling of invincibility can

ruin a team or an organization.
