Warm Greetings! to my family of Lions and Leos:

As I reflect on this year’s journey and compose my last official
message before I step down as your District Governor, I am
filled with mixed emotions. Together, we have shared
countless memories, faced and overcome several challenges,
and celebrated many successes. Thank you for giving your
support to my administration, helping me to achieve my goals and allowing me the
privilege to serve with you. Thank you for “Changing the World and Inspiring Minds
Through Service.”

LY 2023-2024 has been an unprecedented year with unique experiences. The district
had its first District Governor’s daughter/partner in service. Lion Raenelle was an
outstanding partner in service. For the first time, our district entertained the visit of
an International Director of the same nationality as the District Governor - ID Luis
Jesus Castillo Gamboa and his lovely partner Milly Castillo from the Republic of
Panamá. We arranged our first charter bus to facilitate the attendance of Leos and
Lions at Lions Day at the United Nations.

I wish to extend a warm embrace of appreciation to the inner cabinet for their
competence and organization. I salute the Region Chairs, Zone Chairs, Committee
Chairs, and their sub-committees for their leadership. Their service and guidance
inspired the growth of clubs and the district. I am grateful and sincerely value all the
support, mentoring, and timely advice from my caring and encouraging PDG team. I
will forever cherish the memory of Lions and Leos, whose faces showed dedication,
enthusiasm, and passion to change and improve our communities. And I will always
cherish the kind regards and reassuring words of prayer for strength and discernment
from well-wishers.

I will always remain an ardent supporter of District 20-K1 and hold in high esteem the
friendships that we have built, the lessons that I have learned, and the impact we have
made in the lives of others. Let us continue to support the incoming administration as
they too, strive for excellence.

Thank you, for your shared commitment to “change the world” as we “inspired minds
through service .”
