Brooklyn Metropolis Leos were
supported by the Lions at the
January District 20-K1 Leos’
Hunger Project. They collected
and donated nonperishable
food which was generously
given to a pantry. Special
thanks to the parents of our
Metropolis Leos and Lions serve in joint Hunger Project

IMPRESSIVE INDUCTION
CEREMONY FOR
METROPOLIS LEOS

Special thanks to Lion Joan for organizing a
truly impressive Induction Ceremony. After
reciting The Leo Pledge, the inductees were
pinned and robed, officially welcoming them
into our fold. They also performed wearing
Phrases of Encouragement, not limited to “I
am bold” and “I am courageous”.
Special guests were IPDG Audrey Doorn and
DG / CCE Deborah Harrison who were moved
by the format of the event. They encouraged
the Leos to continue being trailblazers and
lead other youth, following the example of
their sponsoring Lions Club. (see photos at
right)
