“Leaders should be collaborative, modest and generous” ~ Bill Bradley
REMARKS FROM A GRADUATE
Words cannot express how truly happy I am to
have had the opportunity to attend this year’s
Lions Leadership Institute. Our District had
the highest number of graduates…..but are
you surprised? Of course not! K-1 is second
to none!
What a wonderful experience to gain so much
information to help us grow in leadership,
think outside the box and help our District and
clubs reach goals with an abundance of
education. My sponsor, PDG Barbara Moody
gave us such a wealth of information and it
was so wonderful spending time with PID Dr.
Jack Weber who is so full of knowledge and
insight. He is one of the most precious jewels
in our District. It was also so special having
our International President, Douglas X.
Alexander in attendance. You should see the
gleam of pride in his eyes as each Lion from
District 20-K1 was called up to receive his /
her certificate. I am sure that our District
Governor Anthony Cochran felt the same
happiness, like a father watching his children
graduate from college.
This is an Institute that I will recommend that
all Lions attend. It will challenge you in the
best way to become a better Lion.
Yours in service,
Lion Ty’East Alleyne-Bobb,
