Association (WIADCA) Parade on
Labor Day, Monday 4, September
2019.

WIADCA’s newly elected president,
Lion Dr. Jean Joseph (Brooklyn Ca-
narsie Lions Club) welcomed everyone
and thanked the participating organiza-
tions for their support.
Despite the sudden downpour of rain
showers that caught everyone by sur-
prise, K1 Lions stepped up to the cause
and marched up Eastern Parkway to
the rousing cheers of soaked bystand-
ers and supporters along the way. (see
photos) Although several costumes
were drenched in the rainstorm, the
masqueraders continued to enjoy the
thrilling music and delectable foods
of Caribbean culture!
