Lions Quest and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Lions Quest is a comprehensive and universal, evidence-based social and emotional
learning program. SEL is a process through which children and adults acquire and
effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and
manage emotions, set and achieve goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish
positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

Lions Quest and Equity in Education

Lions Quest social and emotional learning programs support, encourage, and celebrate
diversity. Lions Quest programs are designed to create a learning environment based on
the needs of all students in an environment in which no one is an outsider because
everyone is needed, valued, and important. Lions
Quest SEL programs support, encourage, and celebrate diversity. And guide students
to learn the social, emotional, and thinking skills they will need in a safe and
supportive environment.
