Effective Meeting Management & Virtual Meetings – Presenter: First VDG Ingrid Andrews-Campbell
Meetings are very important – if done well. Meetings help people feel included, trusted, and important team
members. They also give members the opportunity to contribute to the success of our clubs. Let’s create
meetings that Lions want to attend, and they will bring greater levels of passion and commitment to our
organization. Key take aways –
The importance of effective meetings;
Ways to make our meetings more productive;
Conducting a meeting within time constraints;
Meeting on a virtual platform.
Putting the Fun (and Games) into Lionism – Presenters: PDG Joyce L. Cochran & Lion Diane Rosier
A smile, a kind word or a pleasant deed can bring happiness and laughter to an otherwise boring meeting. It’s time to
thaw out those cold events and warm things up with fun. We will discover ways to lighten up a virtual, in person, or
hybrid mix with the right experiences that will foster fun and goodwill among participants. These ice breakers and games
give free ideas and will only take a few minutes of your meeting time. You will keep members thinking and smiling.
Protocol/Etiquette in Lionism Matters – Presenter: PDG Barbara Moody
This presentation will define ethical behavior and why it’s important in the club, District, Multiple District
and Lions Clubs International. We will learn how to apply those practical and good behaviors in our Lion
meetings at every level.
Using Social Media to Share your Stories and Stay Resilient During Challenging Times
Presenter: PCC Winster Ceballos
Let’s face it: Social Media may be the easiest place to find anyone these days. As the popularity of Social Media continues
to rise with no sign of slowing down, the ways it can be used have increased dramatically. The needs of Lions Clubs
looking for new members have continued unabated during the pandemic. If you are wondering how Social Media can
help you recruit and retain members during a pandemic, stay tuned, we have some ideas. Reach people the right way by:
Using Social Media to engage and interact with your followers;
Recruiting new members using Social Media;
Sharing your stories to get volunteers passionate about your cause. Setting your club apart from other
organizations can intrigue potential Lions.
