             “BACK TO SCHOOL” PROJECT

The Central Brooklyn Lions Club Inc.serviced children
and women of the Battered Women's Shelter in time for
the opening of school. The schoolbags contained all of
the essential supplies, such as pencils, pens, notebooks,
folders, crayons, erasers, glue sticks, sharpeners and
highlighters. During these uncertain times, club mem-
bers understand that additional items are needed to keep
families safe. CBLC also provided disposable and reus-
able face masks, hand sanitizers, antibacterial and alco-
           hol wipes.

To promote and support literacy, many new children's
books were also included in the backpacks.

Central Brooklyn Lions Club will continue to help those
in need at the Battered Women's Shelter in the months
           ahead.
