LIONS PROVIDE FLU VACCINES.

A “Flu Shot” service event was held by Flushing Lions Club
and Briarwood Kew Gardens Lions Club in Flushing on
September 8th.

Due to Covid-19, flu shots are more important than in previous
years. The medical professionals recommend that everyone
receives the flu vaccine this year, because there is currently no
vaccine available for COVID-19. Therefore, we encouraged
residents to follow the CDC’s helpful guideline to get vaccinat-
ed against the seasonal flu and stay healthy.

We are happy to provide 58 Flu Shots at this event and offer a
gift to each participant.
