     Greetings Lions and Leos:

On behalf of the Past District Governors’ (PDG) Association, I am extending A Happy New Year to all Lions, Leos and Friends
     of District 20-K1.

Continuing the trend of engaging the Lions of our district with the purpose, vision and goals of our organization, the following
will give more insight of who we are, and what we are engaged in as PDGs.

       1. Education – aid in all aspects
       2. Motivation – motivating Lions towards growth, leadership, and all areas that promote the ideals of Lions.
       3. Unity – to rally around leaders in support
       4. Socialization – to continue to engage in social activities and fellowship among the members.
       5. Support – to give our support when and where needed.

     Our accomplishments to date include:

       • Reviewed the ‘Letter of Intent’ for all candidates to ensure that all candidates have the relevant
          qualifications and advise them accordingly.
       • Engaged in a meet and greet with all candidates to provide guidance as they begin their campaign.
Recognition of deserving Lions and Leos for their leadership and service.

We are proud to announce that one of our members, PDG Oswald ‘Ozzie’ Torres, is a Candidate for International Director.

There are four (4) candidates vying to win the nomination from our Multiple District. I encourage you to familiarize yourselves
with all the required policies, and modus operandi, so that we can adhere to appropriate procedures in a manner that is
     expected by our Association.

We urge all Lions and Leos to be proactive in their clubs by assisting in their club’s membership growth program and
participating in service and fundraising projects. This can be accomplished when we keep our focus on assisting our District
Governor and surpass the SMART goals that he has set for District 20-K1. We, the PDGs pledge to do our part to uphold our
     slogan, ‘SECOND TO NONE’

WE CONTINUE TO STRIVE TO MAKE TODAY’S VISION, TOMORROW’S REALITY

     Respectfully Submitted
