                                PDG NARCISSUS FRETT-MOSES

                                “Enlarge the Circle of Lionism, Be Informed….Pass It On”



     Past District Governor Narcissus Frett-Moses joined lionism in 1981 as a member of the Bedford-Stuyvesant Lioness Club where she served
     as Treasurer, Secretary, Vice-President and President of the Club.

     In 1991, Lion Narcissus founded the Mid-Bedford Heights Lions Club and served as the Charter President. She also served as a Zone Chair,

     Region Chair and USA/Canada Forum Chairperson. After her tenure as District Governor, she continued her Lion’s Leadership journey as
     Treasurer and President of the 20-K1 PDG Association, Director for MD-20, and President of the MD 20 PDG Association.

     PDG Narcissus Frett-Moses received numerous awards for her exemplary dedication to humanitarian service. She received the 100%

     Presidents Award and was an eleven (11) Diamond Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow, a Progressive Robert J. Uplinger Awardee and a
     Knights of the Blind Awardee. PDG Narcissus is also the recipient of the prestigious International President’s Medal.

     With her encouragement, a host of family members, including Lion Timothy her deceased husband, her daughters and even her great,

     great grandchildren, have served alongside her sharing in her passion and commitment to Lionism. She believed that if everyone united
     and worked together, our communities would be empowered and improved.

     In addition to her Lions activities, she was an active member of Holy Rosary Roman Catholic Church where she served as a Lector and

     held several other important offices. She served as President of the National Council of Negro Women, Inc., Brooklyn Chapter, member of

     Community School Board 16, as an Elected District Leader of the 55 Assembly District and as a Trustee of St. Francis College.
     Her community service recognitions include the Salvation Army Public Service Award, the Lucille Rose Humanitarian Award, NAACP

     Woman of the Year Award, the 81 Prescient Council Woman of the Year Award, and the National Council of Christians and Jews, Woman of
                             st
     the Year Award.

     We thank you for your long-established legacy of leadership and long-lasting love for Lionism.
