Astrid Benjamin-Campbell
Lion Astrid Benjamin-Campbell is a well-respected Insurance Broker and the
Founder/President/CEO of F.I.T Agency, Inc/FCF Services Inc. serving the Brownsville – East
New York and East Flatbush communities in Brooklyn.
She is the twelfth of thirteen siblings whose mother died when she was very young, (16).
But she successfully completed her high school education, graduated from St. Joseph’s
Convent in Tobago, studied at The College of Insurance in Trinidad & Tobago, then migrated
to the United States in 1998. She continues to excel in her profession with a focus on
serving and nurturing others to build the priceless gift of legacy.
Lion Astrid was inducted into Lionism after attending The USA/Canada Forum in Tampa,
Florida in September 2011. Since then, she has been a dynamic member of Brooklyn
Metropolis Lions Club, serving as Membership Chair, Vice President, Director and
Secretary. During her tenure as Membership Chair, she sponsored 10 new members. She
was appointed to serve as a District Zone Chair and Cabinet Secretary. Lion Astrid has
also represented as an enterprising member of various committees on the Multiple and
International levels. She is a graduate of MD20 Leadership Institute (2014—2015),
Advanced Lions Leadership Institute (2015- 2016) and Lions University (Bachelor’s
Degree, 2018). “Knowledge is not power. What you do with the knowledge is what matters”
is one of her favorite axioms.
Lion Astrid makes time to serve as the CEO of “MyLah Organization” a not-for-profit
establishment in East New York, whose goal is to combat gun violence in the area. She
also functions as the President of the “Tobago Empowerment Alliance Mission”. T.E.A.M.
Lion Astrid is married to Lion Mac Emerson Campbell and they have a precious 12 year
daughter, Serenity Campbell who is their “greatest blessing”
