                   Marine Park Fortifies Literacy in Jamaica
                       & Supports Autistic Children with Toys
       “Where there’s a need, there’s a Lion.” And “It takes a village to raise a child.”
       So, Lion Syble Ellis volunteered to stock a barrel with educational supplies worth $1,500.00 for the disadvantaged
       children  in  Jamaica,  West  Indies.  Donations  included  clothes,  school  backpacks,  rulers,  calculators,  pens,
       pencils, crayons, erasers, notebooks, and folders.  (See photo)
       In addition, the club purchased $600 worth of appropriately selected holiday toys, which were donated to the
       autistic children at  Birch Family Services in Mill Basin, Brooklyn.
