KO CUP COMPETITIONS
• The draws for the KO Cup Competitions will be made by players from teams participating in
the Notts Youth Football League
• Finals and Semi-Finals are arranged at a central venue, or midweek, on floodlit, neutral, 3G
or Grass pitches for the 2024-25 season facilities are completely free of any charges to clubs
or teams, fees for officials appointed to semi-finals will be shared equally between
participating teams.
REFEREES
• Wherever possible we will appoint Referees to matches.
• Where the League has appointed a Referee, the Clubs must accept that appointment and
the home club must give due notice as per league rules. Clubs failing to notify the appointed
referee will be fined as per rule.
• Where the League has been unable to appoint a referee, the two clubs must mutually agree
for someone to referee the match. It is not permissible for clubs to postpone a match due
to there being no officially appointed referee – (mandatory rule set by the FA)- any such
referee has the same powers as an officially appointed referee and his decisions are final and
binding.
• The Home team is responsible for paying the pitch hire and the Referees fees this applies to
all league matches, for KO cup matches the home team is responsible for paying the pitch
hire but both teams are responsible for paying the officials fees in equal shares, KO Cup
Finals incur no costs to Clubs.
Referees’ fees:
U15’s and U16’s under 26 miles £30.00, over 26 miles £35.00 (both are inclusive of travel)
U18’s and U19’s under 26 miles £35.00, over 26 miles £40.00 (both are inclusive of travel)
• Clubs are expected to treat the Referee with respect and ensure that all members of their
club, players, officials, parents, and spectators follow the Football Association’s Codes of
Conduct.
• Referees are asked to complete a Referee’s Match Report Form for each match. An analysis
of referee’s report is compiled and referred to the Management Committee each month.
TEAM SHEET
• A book of match day teams sheets will be issued to every team before the start of the season.
• Each team must give the referee a team sheet at least 15 minutes prior to kick-off – this is a
mandatory requirement for all matches. Failure to carry out this procedure could result in
the referee to not permit you the use of your substitutes.
• Teams must exchange fully completed team sheets after the match.
• Each team must complete the match details on Full-Time.
