Teixeira was the only Yan-
kees’ starter without a hit
during their 14-1 rout of
Kansas City on Monday,
which stopped a six-game
losing streak. He more than
made up as New York won
consecutive games for the
first time since May 10-11.

BALTIMORE (AP) — Scott
Feldman outpitched Chris

Houston beat Baltimore for
its 10th win in 13 games.
Luis Valbuena had two hits

Feldman (4-4) gave up
one run and four hits in six
innings against his former
team. The right-hander
was 5-6 in his lone season
with the Orioles (2013) but
is 4-0 with a 2.41 ERA life-
time against them in Balti-
more.
