Arikok National Park Aloe MAN

This Aloe man is famous for going around for the last 40 year or so selling his unique Aloe
extract in glass bottles. This picture is from 2 years ago when was the last time I saw him.
Andicuri Beach

Last Friday I was at the Arikok Park and took this picture of a section
where they have Aloe Vera plant. Aloe plants were introduced to
the island in 1840s and it was Cornelis Eman’s initiative to cultivate
Aloe Vera commercially that put Aruba on the map as “The island
of Aloes”. My great uncle “Tio (uncle) Dino” worked for many years
on the aloe plantation.
