Amazing Clouds at Malmok Sunset shot
This classic shot is a
must do while in Aru-
ba. I took this shot of
this couple and they
were amazed how
lovely the picture
came out. Aruba’s
sunset is the best
and don’t go back
home without see-
ing it. The best time
for this shot is around
5:45pm. One thing is
for sure: all sunsets
are different in color
tonality so make
sure you do have at
least one.
I love clouds and the first thing I do in the morning is go out-
side and look at the clouds formation. Last week there was
an orange cloud formation in the south at sunrise that looks
like a sunset. Took this shot last month during the two days
of rain and the cloud formation was very different than usual.
For this shot I was standing on the cliff at Malmok.
Arashi Beach
Publication in Wonderful Places
(Instagram)
Arashi is lovely at any time
of the day. You can go
in the morning, midday
or at sunset and you’ll be
amazed how colorful na-
ture can be. The best colors
come when the sun is shin-
ing direct on the beach and
not through the clouds. Sun
shining through the clouds
gives a grey look but with
direct sunlight you can
capture the turquoise in the
color gradient of the sea. I
recommend you go twice
to visit Arashi Beach during
your stay, first in the morn-
For the last 3 years my pictures have been featured more ing and at sunset, sure you

for publication in one of the biggest Instagram hubs (Won-
derful Places) with 10 million followers. This is the first time a
local photographer has reached this and the picture has a
record of 174.415 likes. A very good promotion for our island.
I’m very thankful to Wonder Places to have been chosen for
the publication.
