EAGLE BEACH - The Teddy’s
13th Annual Horse Shoe
Classic Tournament began
in 2005, created by Teddy
Pappas and Pietro di Piet-
ro playing horseshoes just
having a good time.

The original participants
from Boston, Jim Grady
and Doug Cohoon brought
in the trophy,
and since 2009 it became
a classic.
The participants’ number
this year was 36 with a to-
tal of 18 teams, more than
previous years. The horse-
shoe competition goes on
for one week with the tour-
nament being held in one
full day.
Pete di Pietro, Teddy Pap-
pas and Ross Trovato are
the organizers of the event
together with Hetty Herts,
Activities Coordinator.
