Fisherman at the Natural Bridge
If you know the north coast of the island you know that
the sea can change any moment. It was December
2014, I woke up early in the morning as usual to get the
first sunlight and around 5:30 am I saw someone fishing on
the rocks. It was a fisherman and he told me that he has
been fishing at this same spot for over 65 years, since he
was 12 years old. He was a genius catching fishes, looked
like a fishing machine. Well, suddenly we were all wet by
very big waves that just come up out of nowhere. Got this
shot in one of those moments. Really dangerous but over
so many years, the fear is long gone.
Dam di Paradera
It’s been raining a lot over the past 2 weeks here in Aruba and all the water reservoirs
are fully filled. Good for the flora and fauna of our ‘dushi’ Aruba. Our nature depends on
the rainwater and we are all happy to see the reservoirs filled up with water. This is the
‘Dam di Paradera’, the reservoir of Paradera, and it was built many years ago. Not sure
if it’s on Google, if not I will do it so you can google it soon!
Baby Beach Fisherman on the rocks at The Point
Baby Beach will always be my baby! As a photographer I’ve been there many times This picture also gives you an idea how dangerous fish-
