Local artist Grace Ashruf supports the Foundation for Women in Difficulties
ORANJESTAD — Local
painter Grace Ashruf de-
cided to support the foun-
dation that helps women in
difficulties, called Funda-
cion pa Hende Muhe den
Dificultad.
She donated a part of the
sales of her exhibition ‘Bal-
ance’ which showcased
42 paintings in the month
of November last year. The
artist makes it a customs to
support a local foundation
each time she has an ex-
position running.
Ashruf is a successful artist
in Aruba but also abroad
where she exhibited her art
in cities like New York and
Miami. Her newest collec-
tion ‘Balance’ symbolizes
the circle of the moon and
the sun that stand for our
world, inside and outside.
