Based on previous research findings and the changes to the abortion
legislation, and with the current debate on abortion, the present research

nurses involved in TOP and to identify relevant, specific support strategies

necessary for TOP nurses.

Following recent changes in abortion laws in many countries, including South

of assessing what the needs of the aborting woman are, but also the needs of
the nurses and doctors providing TOP services.
