Ahmad Hello, Steve.
Steve Hi, Ahmad. Please tell me how do I get to your house?
Ahmad Are you coming by car, bus or by train?
Steve I will be coming by car. Could you please tell me the easiest way of getting
to your house?
Ahmad Take the M6 to London and need to come of at junction 78
Steve London, could you spell that for me?
Ahmad L - o - n - d - o – n.
Steve Thanks.
Ahmad OK, then turn right at the roundabout and take the second right my house
is on the left next to the local pet store.
Steve Is that the quickest way of getting to your house?
Ahmad Yes, it is the quickest way by car.
Steve Would it be possible for you to draw me a map please, as I don't know the
area very well as I am from Blackburn.
Ahmad Yes I will draw a map and send you a copy in an email with some directions
we have just talked about.
Steve Thank you so much.
Ahmad You are welcome.

Practice the following conversation between two students about the direction to go to public
library.

Pertiwi Please tell me how to get to the nearest public library in town?
Smith Are you coming by car or by bus?
Pertiwi I am coming by car. Please could you tell me the easiest way of getting to that
place?
Smith Take the M6 to Manchester and come of at junction 6.
Pertiwi Manchester, can you spell that for me?
Smith M -a- n- c- h- e- s- t- e- r.
Pertiwi Thanks.
Smith OK, then turn right at the roundabout and take the first left. The local library is
on the left next to the local food store.
Pertiwi Is that the quickest way of getting to that place?
Smith Yes, it is the quickest way by car.
