C. Skimming. Read the following text that is the continuation story of the previous one. Answer
the questions.
My next exploration will be Jungfrau Region. Here, I am going to hike Eiger, definitely. The best
way to explore Jungfrau Region is from Interlaken. And I am not going to miss exploring this fascinating
town between two lakes. The boat trip in Lake Thun will be tempting, besides I have several activities
that I want to do there, such as descending Niederhorn to Waldegg, and exploring Niesen. The thrilling
part is that we are going to go paragliding. I am so excited! After few days exploring the valley town,
we are going to start our hiking on the three famous mountains: Eiger, Jungfrau and Mӧnch. After that,
we will go to Lucerne. Because we will only be in Lucerne if there is enough spare time, in Lucerne, we
will just go where the wind blows.
For the hotel and transportation, in Zermatt, Ethan is going to book me a hotel close to his
house. Since Zermatt is free from gasoline-driven vehicles, I will rent a bike, or take cable cars to
explore the city; even I can go on foot. From Zermatt to Interlaken, we are going to take train. It will
be exciting to see Switzerland landscape during the train trip, and both of us will not get tired. In
Interlaken, we will find a hostel near the train station. To go around the city, we will take public
transportation or rent bikes. The amusing part of Switzerland is that funiculars and cable cars are
available everywhere. Even when you want to hike a mountain but do not want to get exhausted,
funiculars or cable cars are at your service.
I can imagine that my semester break vacation will be so amazing. I am so thrilled for my trip
in Switzerland.
