My Summer Vacation to Goa

Our summer vacation was the most memorable one. We planned this short trip since long and
finally made it. Though the climate was hot in Goa, the trip was really a mind refresher. We were
able to relax in the tranquil beach during the evenings. The waves moving up and down gave us
peace of mind and the beach time gave us chance to talk with our family without any hindrance
after a long time. We saw many fishermen moving into the sea and catching fish. We also got many
valuable things as a remembrance of Goa. Goa is definitely one of the best places one should visit
at least once in a lifetime. Beside being very well known as a worship destination for its numerous
Hindu’s temples, Goa is also famous for its beaches. The main reason we selected Goa as our
destination this year is the big number of beaches the place has. We made it to Varca Beach,
Cavelessom Beach, Utorda Beach, Arambol Beach and Ashwem Beach.
Since we love adventure, we planned our first day to Bats Island. At Bats Island, we spent the
whole day relaxing and snorkelling. The second day we enjoyed beautiful landscape by sightseeing
in speed boat cruising. We treasured this day a lot since it was our first time; moreover we had a
really good time with the cruise. The next day we booked a van for sightseeing places namely Fort
Aguada, Jimmy’s Palace, Central Jail, Raj Bhawan and Dolphin Watch. The best part of our trip was
the fourth day in Dudhsagar Waterfalls, which is the fifth largest waterfalls in the country. The size
is enormous. The natural scenery we found there was splendid and our photo session at
Dudhsagar Waterfalls was the best. The last day we relaxed in the resort we booked to stay in. We
did a fine shopping of all precious things available in Goa and enjoyed our evening in Baga Beach
before returning back to hometown.
