                 Listening for Specific Information
                 When you listen for specific information, you need to have some idea of what you're listening for
                 before you listen and while you're listening.
                  Before       → Prepare and Predict
                  listening    Think about the topic and what you already know. What information might you
                               expect to hear?
                               → Understand the Task
                               If it's an exercise, make sure you understand the specific information you need
                               to find.
                  While        → Focus on Keywords
                  listening    Listen for specific words and phrases that are likely to contain the information
                               you need.
                               → Predict Content
                               Try  to  guess  what  might  be  said  next  based  on  the  context  or  previous
                               information.
                               → Active Listening
                               Don't just hear words, but try to understand the
                               meaning and the speaker's intent.
