                   Language Focus


                            Personal Pronouns and Possessives


               When describing a person, we often mention the person’s name. However, we can replace the name with
               personal pronouns (I, you, we, they, he, she, etc.) to avoid repetition. See the examples from the previous
               audio.
                    •  Mr. Kim has short gray hair and wears glasses.
                       He is average height and thin.
