Learning Objectives

At the end of this lesson, you must be able to:
1. categorize the biological molecules lipids,
carbohydrates,proteins, and nucleic acids according to their
structure and funcon and
2. explain the role of each biological molecule in specific
metabolic processes.

The bodies of organisms are made up of thousands of different kinds of
organic molecules, which are composed of atoms of carbon and hydrogen.
