containing nitrogen. Some plant seeds are coated with chin, protecng them
from aack by soil fungi. Because chin also possesses anbacterial and anviral
properes, it is used in medicine as a wound dressing and a suture material. Chin
has also been found to be useful in the producon of cosmecs and various foods.
