Program Description: To improve the quality, availability, and use of data to support the
federal government’s efforts to address environmental injustice and to better protect all
communities from the impacts of pollution and climate change; to update and improve the
Climate and Economic Justice Screening Tool to inform federal investments and decision-
making; to enhance the availability of national level data sets that can help characterize the
disproportionate impacts of pollution, climate change, and other socioeconomic burdens on
communities and provide a pathway to quantify and address these cumulative burdens; and
identify ways to improve outcomes for communities with environmental justice concerns.

Funding Amount: $32,500,000

Period of Availability: To remain available until September 30, 2026.
