Conversion Factor between Indonesian Credit Unit (sks) and ECTS
In accordance with Permenristekdikti No. 44 of 2015 Article 17, Paragraphs 1, 2,
3 and 4 and Rector Regulation No.: 582/UN27/HK/2016 Chapter VIII Article 9, the
learning burden is the measure of time for student learning activities stated in the
amount of credit. The amount of time of student learning activities stated in the
amount of credits.
a. Student study expenses are at least 144 (one hundred and forty four) credits
and a maximum of 166 (one hundred and sixty six) credits, which is must be
completed within a maximum of 7 academic years.
b. The learning expenses for 1 (one) credits are regulated with the following
conditions:
1. The learning process in the form of lectures, responses, or tutorials on
learning process activities 50 (fifty) minutes per week per semester.
2. Structured assignment activities 60 (sixty) minutes per week per semester.
3. Self-activity 60 (sixty) minutes per week per semester.
4. The learning process in the form of seminars or other forms of learning
activities are 100 (one hundred) minutes per week per semester; and
independent activities 70 (seventy) minutes per week per semester.
5. The learning process is in the form of practicum, studio practice, workshop
practice, field practice, work practice, research, design, or development,
military training, student exchange, internship, entrepreneurship, and/ or
PKM 170 (one hundred and seventy) minutes per week per semester.
For students of Biology Education Study Program who will participate in the
Exchange of Students abroad, for example Europe, one of the new terms to know is
ECTS, a scheme to determine the burden of student studies at universities in Europe.
If in Indonesia we know sks, then in universities in Europe ECTS its name. The
conversion from sks to ECTS can be calculated by referring to Rector's Decree No.
582/UN27/HK/2O16. 1 credits equivalent to 1.62 ECTS
