                 I.  Duties & Responsibilities:

                    1.  Orders goods and supplies to ensure that maximum/minimum stock levels are maintained.
                    2.  Liaises with senior managers on the ordering of goods which fall outside the agreed financial parameters.
                    3.  Assist Purchasing Officer in ordering all items through approved suppliers only, obtaining permission for
                        ordering any items which are only available through an alternate source.
                    4.  Ensures that goods received are of the quality and quantity ordered and in accordance with the agreed
                        price.
                    5.  Ensures timely and correct completion of all administration in respect of deliveries.
                    6.  Creates database, log sheets of ins and outs of stocks.
                    7.  Prepares daily report of stocks.
                    8.  Completes all documentation and take the necessary action in cases of non-delivery, substandard
                        deliveries or over pricing.
                    9.  Ensures that all items are stored correctly in terms of temperature, humidity and shelf life and that no food
                        items are stored on the floor.
                    10.  Segregates stocks per classification such as but not limited to perishables and non- perishables,
                        chemicals, cleansing agents, etc.
                    11.  Ensures correct stock rotation and that issues are effected on a first in, first out basis.
                    12.  Ensures that all issues are made against requisitions and that no items leave the storeroom without the
                        appropriate documentation or signature.
                    13.  Ensures maximum security of all storeroom areas, that no unauthorized person enters the stores or
                        issues with a key allowing access.
                    14.  Maintains the cleanliness of the storeroom.
                    15.  Informs management and follows agreed procedures in the case of spoilage or damage of any item.
                    16.  Takes stocks at prescribed intervals and ensures that all necessary administration is completed without
                        delay.
                    17.  Attends meetings or training courses as required.
