BOOKS
I know this seems like a fluff piece (being a list article and all), but hear me out. Not only do you
need new books to read but - writer buds - you need to know that this isn't dumb or a waste of
time. When you perservere, great things happen. Here are five manuscripts that went from
NaNoWriMo projects to popular-selling books. Your art must be seen. Your art must be heard. Let
it have its voice! And also, add these books to your Goodreads TBR if you haven't already.
1. Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern
2. The Forest of Hands and Teeth - Carrie Ryan
3. Fangirl - Rainbow Rowell
4. Water For Elephants - Sara Gruen
5. Side Effects May Vary - Julie Murphy
You'll notice that there are only titles and author names. That is because I honestly haven't read
any of them. However, I'm super impressed and happy to see that this is legit just a drop in the
bucket of former NaNo projects that have become successful books in their own right. So, I've
added them to the trusty ol' Goodreads TBR list by clicking that 'Want To Read' button. And you
should too! Click below:
