Azula can only hear a few bits of Kiyi and Mai’s conversation. It was nauseating to see Mai giggles a lot, so out of character for her to even give a tiny simple and now she is laughing like a buffoon.
“So, how do you plan to do this?” Mai asked, loud enough for Azula to pick up.
“Shh...we have to keep this a secret, remember?” Kiyi whispers slowly, “it will be on when Zuzu least expects it, for sure!”
“Ah, I’m not in full knowledge of his schedule and arrangement, you can ask Ty Lee, she’ll know more, “ Mai suggested
The young honorary member of the fire nation royal family dives into her own thoughts for a while before saying the words Azula fears to hear the most, “ We will attack when he’s at his most vulnerable, he will never expect it, we will get him bad.”
Mai and Kiyi smile at each other knowingly before saying goodbye and parting in their own way. As if nothing happened they go on about their day normally.
