Mike LaCorte
Mike is a Past President and Chairman of WAD. He is CEO of Conflict International, a global leader in intelligence
and international investigations with its head office in London, and local offices in NC and NY in the USA
with sub-offices in Europe. With over 25 years to his credit, he specialises in project managing complex
international investigations, remaining within local laws and presenting professional, admissible intelligence
reports to international clients. An extremely approachable international investigator, he is a highly sought
after speaker and been quoted in several international press and media circulars.
John Nardizzi
John F. Nardizzi is an investigator, lawyer and writer. He has managed complex investigations, including
criminal trials, toxic tort cases, medical malpractice, sexual harassment and civil rights cases. John earned
international reputation for his work in investigating wrongful convictions and developing information
on decades-old cases. He is also an attorney admitted to the State Bar of California, as well as the federal
courts of the 9th Circuit. John also has published two novels and written articles for Pursuit Magazine, PI
Magazine, and Lawyers Weekly.
Alexey Solomanidin
Alexey Solomanidin is the head of the leading consulting and investigative firm in Russia, Vlasta-Consulting
Ltd, with offices in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belorussia and Kyrgyzstan. Alex is widely recognized in his
10-year career for his work in the fields of brand-protection and investigations. He regularly participates as
a speaker at various conferences globally and an author of several articles related to the brand-protection
sphere. In 2018, Alex received the WAD “Investigator of the year award”. Alex is a Past President and
Chairman of WAD.
Rina Hatano
Rina is the Overseas Business Manager at FAMILY Investigation, spearheading business expansion in Southeast
Asia, including Vietnam. Now in her second year in the role, she also works as a writer and investigator. With a
background in teaching English and experience as an elementary school teacher, she brings a strong sense of
responsibility and an international perspective to her work. Her strengths lie in her eagerness to embrace new
challenges and the ability to adapt quickly.
Nitul Shah
Nitul Shah has more than 22 years of investigative experience working in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka
and across the region involving due diligence, investigations, security assessments, executive protection,
including bribery and corruption, ESG compliance and other whistle-blower investigations. Nitul’s cross
culture understanding, people-management skill and his trouble shooting abilities are often called upon by
clients for sensitive projects involving internal employee, people and the enforcement authorities.
Juan Giraldo
Juan is located in Bogota, Columbia and has been a Business Administrator, working in the security
field since 1995. He is the CEO of HORIZON CPI and a US Army officer retired in 1989. Juan has
been working the LATAM Region since 2000 and has developed a strong Networking throughout the
Region. Juan is also a Certified Security consultant in Colombia serving the South American region.
