Welcome!
Let me be the first to welcome you to the Centennial
Conference of the World Association of Detectives, Inc.
It is my distinct honor to welcome you to this gathering
of the world’s premier investigative and security Years of Us
professionals. WORLD ASSOCIATION OF DETECTIVES
Since 1925, WAD has advanced the interest of the
private investigative and security profession throughout
the world. Biannually, WAD meets around the globe
to promote friendship and camaraderie amongst our
members across borders, cultures, and languages.
Each of you brings unique skills, cultural perspectives,
and hard-earned wisdom to our profession. Whether you
are a seasoned operator with decades of experience or a
newcomer eager to learn from the masters of our trade,
your presence here strengthens our global network.
During our time together, I encourage you to engage
fully in the exchange of ideas, techniques, innovations,
and friendship that define our gatherings.
The World Association of Detectives has long stood as a
beacon of excellence in our field, upholding the highest
standards of ethical investigation while advancing
the science and art of detection. As we look toward
the future, we remain committed to supporting each
member’s professional development and fostering
the international cooperation that makes seemingly
impossible cases and situations solvable.
I extend my heartfelt gratitude to all who have made this
event possible—our executive committee, our generous
sponsors and exhibitors, and most importantly, each of
you for your dedication to attending. May this gathering
