Including a section on 'corruption' in Africa in this narrative might be considered a risk.
Less thoughtful readers might be expected to switch off from the central theme and
ɡ
̩
regress back to one of the stereotypical slanders you hear from m'zuŋ u in reference to
̩
ɡ
Africans. Along the lines of 'its all their fault". And with a clear inference that m'zuŋ u
should stop trying. Should reduce Foreign Aid in across all its forms.
There are a lot of reasons why that sort of reaction is wrong. Not least of this is that
̩
ɡ
the m'zuŋ u has great difficulty in being able to determine what is corruption and what is
not!
̩
ɡ
Much of the following is meant to question the certainty of m'zuŋ u views on
corruption in Africa. At the end, it’s worth remembering that each of us is a victim of the
society in which we are born into. We become individuals in a giant scheme of things, a
complexity so large, that no individual can withstand the forces pressing in from all sides.
And even more so when an individual is scraping an existence in an underdeveloped
economy. Whereby definition there are few or none of the welfare state supports many
ɡ
̩
m'zuŋ u can turn to.
