On behalf of the TMPAA and the advisory board, welcome to the 2025 Mid-Year Meeting!

Dallas, TX is home to the 2025 Mid-Year Meeting, an exciting new location for TMPAA. Keeping with the local motto that
“everything is bigger in Texas”, this year’s meeting does not disappoint. Once again, TMPAA welcomes a record number of
industry professionals to the Mid-Year Meeting, with over 1,200 attendees already registered at the time of this writing. Dallas, TX
and the Hilton Anatole were selected for their convenient location, proximity to two major airports, and because the facility offers
ample rooms and meeting space to accommodate our growing membership. We hope you enjoy this new venue and look forward
to your post-meeting feedback as we constantly strive to improve the experience for our members.

While there is much to look forward to as we near the midpoint of 2025, this will be the first TMPAA meeting in history held
without one of our most notable and beloved members in attendance. It is with great sadness that we mourn the recent loss of
Greg Thompson. Greg was known and respected throughout the industry and was particularly impactful through his innumerable
contributions as a longtime TMPAA board member. Greg’s infectious personality and devotion to philanthropy and education will
be sorely missed. We look forward to celebrating Greg’s life and his many contributions during the meeting.
During the preceding months, the TMPAA has been working diligently to refine the much-anticipated biennial Program Business
Study. The study is critical to helping us better understand the needs of our evolving membership and serves as the preeminent
source of information about program business. The survey has been distributed to members via email, and we urge you to
participate. The information you submit is collected and aggregated by a third-party and not seen by the TMPAA or our board,
thus ensuring strict confidentiality of the data you submit. Participants of the study will receive a free copy of the final report.
Your help with this important project is greatly appreciated.
We consistently hear that our members attend the TMPAA Mid-Year Meeting because it is an unrivaled opportunity to conduct
business with other professionals in one place. That makes it challenging to find guest speakers who can capture your attention
and compete for your limited time. For those reasons, I’m thrilled to welcome Martha Stewart as this year’s guest speaker. Martha
is truly a household name and pioneer of the first multi-channel lifestyle company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. Martha is
an entrepreneur, bestselling author, and Emmy award winning television host. Her accomplishments are too many to list here so
you’ll have to attend the conversation I’ll be hosting with Martha at 3:30 PM on Tuesday, May 6 to learn more. We look forward to
          seeing you there.

As always, TMPAA invested considerable energy in developing sessions that address current and relevant issues that many of our
members are facing. Please make time in your schedule to attend two great workshops, The Art of Selling an MGA and Parametric
Insurance. Both presentations include star-studded panels of industry leaders and are sure to be informative and entertaining.
Another notable endeavor this year includes the launch of the TMPAA Charities Permanent Endowment, which has a mission of
attracting and developing new talent in the program business sector. The endowment will serve as a reliable source of funding
for the TMPAA Charities Risk and Insurance Scholarships, uniquely focused on education and advocacy for careers in program
business, as well as our Packages from Home initiative. We look forward to sharing more details about this endowment and
          encourage your support.

The ever-increasing TMPAA membership and meeting attendance reflects the health and continued growth of the program
business sector. As our industry grows and evolves, the TMPAA staff and board remain focused on delivering value and a great
experience that is worthy of your time and resources. On behalf of the Target Markets staff, advisory board, and our valued
sponsors, we welcome you to Dallas and wish you a productive and enriching 2025 Mid-Year Meeting!
