Students will be able to:
? Describe an electric vehicle and how it works
? Provide examples of when someone might want
to purchase an electric vehicle and why
Overview
Daniel and his family are trying to decide which type of vehicle to buy. Through this
lesson, students will learn about electric vehicles as an alternative to traditional fossil fuel
powered engines. Discussion will also include information on hybrid technology.
Following the reading of the book, students will participate in a coloring activity.
