Oil Change

All oil changes are to be carried out in accordance with IW 0102 M4. The following
procedures should be used when completing an oil change:

               Oil Drain
                              1. Drain the waste oil while the engine is at operating temperature.
                              2. Turn 3-way cock h3 into the "Drain" position.
                              3. Open shut-off valve ha.
                              4. Open the shut-off valve at the lowest point of the lubricating oil piping to
                                 drain the lubricating oil cooler.
                              5. Remove side covers and use vacuum and squeegee to completely clean the
oil pan. (See sample photo below)

It is important that the system is drained thoroughly to avoid contaminating the fresh oil with
too much residual used oil (pump off once more after 15 min if necessary).
To avoid contaminating the fresh oil, step 5 should be strictly adhered too. Additionally, oil

filters WILL BE changed at the oil change going forward. This allows the oil circuit to be
completely drained and eliminates all areas within the circuit of potential contamination.

Engine with an oil pan that is ready to fill!

For record keeping purposes, photos WILL ALWAYS be taken of the oil pan before it is
               filled with fresh oil.
