A song was heard at Christmas
SATB+Keyboard. Words, Timothy Dudley-Smith. Proving to be
a firm favourite. Great words from the legend of hymn
writers.
The people who in darkness walked
SATB divisi a cappella. From the Scottish Psalter, this takes
the text from Isaiah 9. New for 2019!
In the Beginning
SATB+Keyboard. Text is taken from John 1. This has proven to
be very popular when showcased at the exhibitions.
The Angel’s Song
SATB+Organ. Takes the famous Luke text. The Angels get
plenty of chance to show their singing skills – ballad, chorale,
light jazz building to a Handel-like chorus!
For God so loved the World
SATB divisi a cappella. Again, a well-known text with a lilting,
reflective melody.
Commissioned piece for St. Mark’s Church,
Wimbledon performed June 2019.
